Okemo's Summer Day Camp Is Back!
Okemo Mountain's Penguin Playground Day Care Center is getting ready to put away the skis and boots and pull out the snorkels and water sprinklers in preparation for a fun-filled and adventurous summer. Whether you are vacationing in Ludlow this summer of live in the Okemo/Ludlow region, Okemo's innovative Summer Camp program is the perfect choice for summer-time fun.
Okemo Mountain's Summer Day Camp, is under the direction of Ann Dortch, Okemo's Director of the Penguin Playground Day Care Center. This innovative summer day camp program provides a creative comfortable and secure environment for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years, in a fully licensed day care facility. The Okemo Summer Day Camp will run from Monday, June 19, 2000 to Friday, September 1, 2000.
A wide array of indoor and outdoor activities is on the agenda each day. With activities like swimming at the West Hill Recreation Center or Plymouth State Park, tennis, panning for gold, nature projects, arts & crafts, field games, hiking, volleyball, picnics and scavenger hunts, day campers are sure to experience the joys of summer. Bike riding and rollerblading will also be offered this year (helmets are required). In addition, a selection of adventurous field trips are on the agenda this summer.
The Okemo Summer Day Camp will be open Monday through Friday from 7:00 am until 5:00 pm with full-day, half-day and weekly rates available. For more information on the Okemo Summer Day Camp, please call (802) 228-1554.
