Howdy.

Forgive me for working while I talk but I have to finish this door while the weather's cooperating. Can't be thankful enough for good weather.

This color blue wasn't my idea. The ladies' auxillary thought the downstairs door ought to be a happy color. Being that the youngsters come through here for Sunday School, they thought the entrance should be cheerful. It's going to be cheerful all right.

So, you're looking to find a house of worship. Well of course your always welcome to join in fellowship with us here in Rural, Vermont.

This poem was sent to me by a dear friend. I thought I would share it with you.

Out in the Fields with God
Anonymous

The little cares that fretted me
I lost them yesterday
Among the fields, above the sea,
Among the winds at play,
Among the lowing of the herds,
The rustling of the trees,
Among the singing of the birds,
The humming of the bees.

The foolish fears of what might happen,
I cast them all away,
Among the clover-scented grass,
Among the new-mown hay,
Among the husking of the corn,
Where drowsy poppies nod,
Where ill thoughts die and good are born--
Out in the fields with God.
