Great base! Dave and I are lucky enough to live within an easy drive of several major ski areas, so we get to ski when the conditions are great! You can pretty much bet if it snows overnight we're on the slopes the next day. There are plenty of trails for all levels at Vermont's ski mountains. Even our kids have their favorites.
